RAIHAN's comingggg!!!
RAIHAN is coming to Toronto!!! Their 1st ever performance will be on Saturday, July 16, 2005 @ Paramount Canada's Wonderland for Muslim Day. They are my FAVE nasheed group... soooo excited!!! I have been waiting to see them perform since RIS back in December when their visa thing didn't work out... let's hope it all works out this time bc they are the Headliners (the only headliners) for Muslim Day.
Then in 3 weeks... MUSLIMFEST 2005!!

representing Malaysia! WOOO! InshAllah they'll make it out this time around...they're a huge group back home (not my home, but theirs) and I was pretty surprised to see how popular they are here! let me know how everything went!! I have to work so can't make it :(
Oh Yeahh you grew up in Malaysia right?! They are HUGE in Europe and Asia... they even won an MTV award! Teach me malay Deej... then I will def fit the role of a full fledged Malay ;)
It woulda been cool to grow up there but I just lived there for 2 years...and I don't remember much Malay anymore since I havnt put it to use in awhile! I can see "eat" "bus" "thank you" and a couple other things here and there. But you could definitely pass for a Malaysian Sarah, so just get the lingo down and you'll be fine.
Raihan is your favorite nasheed group eh? Could u translate one of their malay songs to me in english?? Thankoo :)
