Happy Ghar Brownie!

Me, Shabina and Marr went to a House Warming Party/Qur'an Khatam on the weekend.. or as some people like to call it, a "Ghar Brownie". Definitely a good time, as it always is with these two... never a dull moment that is for sure.

Shabina bought some gift and we wrapped it on the back of Marria's car... haha truly a fobulous idea... and it was madd windy. But we ended up wrapping it really nicely... i think it was the best wrapped gift there actually! And I know Nilofer wishes she had come... after all, the other Nilo was there too!

You know how every family does distinctly odd things, well I guess you just come to expect it'll happen at some point at everyone who is outside your family friend's circle. So at one point, Aunty was handing out these wildly colored little flowery things that were in a tray. And we all were like... what are those and what are we supposed to do with them?!! And for some reason, either it was me or all of us (can't rem) thought that everyone else was eating the little flowers. So we were madd confused to say the least, and Auny was fast approaching ... so in my head I was like.. gotta make a decision fast... should I take one? should i eat it too? So yeah, this turned out to be one of those incidents where we
overanalyzed the situation. The little flowery things actually were tissue paper flowers sprayed with perfume... apparently people hand them out after milads and stuff. And so yeah, they were actually jus smelling the flowers, not eating them. Ooooops?

Looks like we're in a gao nah?
