Food.... and lots of it...
It's November today... and nothing much happened today.. but i wanted to have a post under my November archive. I'm not a nerd...
But... there was an iftar today at school... it was sponsored by this new mediterranean place called... get this.... "Something to Talk About" .... GOOD Food... the chicken tasted like Chicken Tikka.... Mmmmmm. Tasted more like desi food... but the rice was totally Greek'd out... Greek rice is the best.... and their potatoes too!
And.. I bought some mithai... and i have learned that there are wayyyy too many types of mithai out there... there are like 10 different Burfi's and so when the lady asked me which burfi i wanted i didn't know which one i wanted... anyways i realized i wanted the khoya ones... and then i decided to spring for some Ladoo's too... even tho i don't really dig them.
I am slowly realizing that food is a pretty big part of my everyday life... and that the gym is not.... NOT a good combination... grrrr

We need addresses!! Is this greek restaurant in miss? I also heard that there's an Italian Halal restaurant somewhere here.
I believe (correct me someone If I'm wrong) Something to talk About is located at Winston Churchill & Dundas.
An Italian Halal place... now that is a new concept.. i wanna hear bout that one Yaseen
I believe the Italian restaurant is on Matheson Rd in Mississauga...
What's this Italian place called??... and Pita & Grill is opening up closer to Brampton ... dunno when its gonna open exactly.. but its gonna be on Derry & 10 ... now i can finally try it... i hope this one doesnt close @ 7:00!!
Last time I went to go check it out.. it was like 7:15 and they were closed... whats up with that? So then we ended up goin to Huang Chang... word of warning.. don't try their beef.. its jus plain nasty! I liked their egg rolls though..
The Italian place is called Bistro Cara Mia and Cafe. It's on 1350 Matheson Blvd, and the major intersection is Matheson and Dixie Rd. Also, their phone number is 905-624-6864. Sometimes listening to those Pakistani radio programs really pay off! :)

Shaz is it the radio programs or something else you're paying attention to...ahem...and don't worry, I have that restaurant all scoped out. The food is good... more Italian-Italian than Desi-Italian (assuming you know what that means...) I guess I have to like it though, right? ;)
I can't believe I've never heard of it still.. I guess i haven't been keeping upto date with my paki radio stations huh? Ahem..Shazia... hehe. Hey we should go try that Italian place sometime... can we have another Eid dinner thingy... since I am not gonna be able to make it to the one on the 21st? :D
