ISNA was fun.. Good Times, Good Friends, and usually Good Food.
Club ISNA was an embaressment to muslims. I was there for a bit and got caught up in the atmosophere but honestly some of it was just dispicable. As soon as I got back I wrote ISNA a letter stating my views and inshallah next year they will put an end to the shameless events taking place at the hotel lobbies in the late evenings. It seems as if people just go to ISNA to "party".
There were alot of HOT girls at ISNA, especially in the hotel lobby. The girls were much hotter than in Canada, except for you Sara, you are so cute!!

How is club ISNA dispicible? How is it wrong for young single muslims to meet each other in such a setting? No one is forced to participate in this against their will. For many muslim youth it is difficult to meet potential matches due to the environment that they live in. So for those who do not have access to a large muslim community from which they can meet their potential matches- then what is wrong with them trying to meet these people at ISNA? At least they are being upfront and honest about their intentions, and doing it infront of everyone. We've all heard of many cases where people originally met at ISNA, and eventually ended up getting married. What is wrong with that?
I went to ISNA for spiritual enlightenment and that is indeed what happened. I learned a lot from the lectures. I also lost some respect for Sh Hamza for saying something one night and then semi-apologizing for it the next night. I was also told that I am a very good person to sleep with cause I don't move at ALL the whole night :)

I wanted to go to ISNA, I've never been, but I've heard many of the stories - both good and bad =). Just out of curiosity, did ANY of you ISNA go-ers get to listen to my brother-in-law speak?? His name is Saeed Khan...he was speaking Sat. afternoon at 4:30 on scholars in Islam. From hearing most of the stories I dont think there was much lecture going but hey i thought I'd check!
Hi peeps, this is Aisha... I was at this year's ISNA. It was a fun weekend. I saw so many hot guys, ummmmm. I had a couple of guys approach me. This one guy approached me and was so sweet. Unfortunately I never got any contact information from him but he did tell me he was from Toronto in Canada and his name was Faisal. Anyone know a Faisal that came down from Toronto here??
Hey Aisha, this is Seema. I saw this guy at ISNA from Toronto, he had curly hair done up to try to make it look like a fro, but it wasn't going anywhere. He wasn't sweet at all. He cut me off in the lineup for food at the Hyatt. He thought he was all that. I think he had a friend he kept calling out to, I think his name was Omar or something like that. This guy might be the Faisal you are looking for...

Heard the funniest ISNA acronym: the HTBAH = here to be a harami category... u know the ones who skip the lectures and hit the bazaar and the lobbies...
Club ISNA is a total disgrace to Islam and what ISNA is all about. It's obvious many of you don't know that there is drugs, alcohol, and sex going on at the hotel that night. In fact there were 3 drug busts last year alone at Isna, wow GREAT Muslims lol.
Yeah it's ok to meet people and potential mates, but alot of people go there for the super haram and that's just wrong.
I remember i was told Allah(swt) says, if u do not obey me i will destroy u and bring forth a nation that will obey my laws, Brothers and sisters as dumb as i may sound, in isna many brothers and sisters move farther away from islam, so i beg of u do some soul searching, and realize we should do more than just "hook up" @ isna or chill, but make a difference
