What age do you act?

Wanna know what age you act?

Dude I act like I'm 15... I dunno if that's a good thing or not? I don't look 15 do I?! Cuz that's jus sad...

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

Happy Bday Ahmeroo!

It's my big bro's 26th birthday today! Wowww man... that's old. And you're not married yet?! It could be worse... you could actually look 26 instead of 20! Oh come on, I'm just kidding... I've gotta get it in before you get married, because then Ammi will yell at me and give me the evil eye if I make fun of her 'laadla masoom sa beta' in front of his wife. I hope ur taking us out to Singapore Gardens =)

Here is a pic from Ahmer's 5th birthday. That's ME in the red suit in my Ammi's arms.. I was soo cute! And Ahmer is the boy standing in front of me crying .. haha.. I think I pulled his hat off and made him cry.. Good times! Wow that picture was taken 21 years ago... that's like 1/5 of a century. Man... we're getting old.

My Trip to the Homeland (cont'd)

These are my 3 Abbu's (Uncles), my Dad would've completed the picture; my Dad is the youngest of 6 brothers and 1 sister. Which explains why a few of my nephews and nieces are older than me. I would always ask them to tell me stories about my Dad when he was younger and all their adventures. Man, they had exciting stories... ditching classes and going to movies and then running into trouble on the way. One thing the Abbu's loved to do was FEED me.. mithai (ofcourse), samosas, sandwiches, you name it... MMmmmmm... it all sounds so yummy now, but at the time the thought of food made me wanna hurl. They took great care of me =)

This is me and my nephews Shayaan (newborn) and Shahroz. I think Shahroz had just gotten into trouble (yet again) and yeah I was his new best friend :) We did everything together... well more like I helped him with everything, getting dressed, eating, combing his hair... hilarious kid. There was this one incident where we were playing and somehow his knee hit me in the chin, I was alright but he got yelled at by my cousin and then he started crying. So I asked him why he was crying and apparently my chin had hurt his knee LOL. When you were on his "good" side he'd be all polite and refer to you using 'aap'; when you were on his "bad" side there was no telling what he'd refer to you as... he was a 5 yr old drama queen. But it's kids like him that you always miss when they aren't around.

This is me and my fave cousin, Sonia and her son, Daaniyal @ Pizza Hut. Me and her, we always have the best time wherever we are. I only got to see her 2 times this trip, which sucked but we made the best use of every second. I missed her sooo much. She got married a year and half ago, so this was the first time I met her husband, Junaid.. awesome guy MashAllah... he's taking really good care of her. On our last trip, Sonu promised me she would come to Canada to visit me atleast once, so this time I made Junaid Bhai promise me the same. Me and Junaid Bhai shared stories about Sonu over dinner and then me and Sonu shared our adventures from the last trip; I was soo glad that me and him got along. Then we all went out for ice cream and milkshakes. I had a lot of leftovers that night.

I'm Back!

Hey guys.. yes it's true.. I am finally back from Pakistan! Well I actually got back on Tuesday afternoon.. but have been incredibly lazy to get back on the blog or call or email. Actually ever since I have been back I have been incredibly lazy to do everything.. like i jus called work yesterday to tell them I'm back.. haven't checked my email until today.. yesterday was the first day i actually went out.. guy I've gotta get out of this rut!

The trip was awesome... had tons of fun... but spent my time primarily shopping, which wouldn't have been so bad except for the crazy hot temperatures!! Thank God for air conditioners! My english vocab is really bad now :S and no I didn't go to ESL in the first place. I lost a few pounds which is awesome because I've been tryin to get rid of them for a while now.. well not actively per se.. but yeah now I can kickstart my workout/pilates routine ... inshAllah!! I miss my relatives back home though... time flew by and now i wish i had spent it with them more.. but then again we went to do wedding shopping.

And thanks to ME and my constant persistence and nagging... my neice got engaged :) Well, its not like I forced them into it.. but here's the case, whenever we are in Pakistan or India there are never any weddings or engagements or anything BUT when my cousin goes to Pak there are ALWAYS weddings and parties so i was like .. I'm here and I dont know when I'll be back next (guilt-tripping all the way) so let's just do the engagement while I'm here. They were going to get engaged somewhere down the line anyways.. so finally they agreed :) and we had the engagement partay. Good times!

I will hafta reminisce later... Auspar needs the computer :)

"Update my blog u Chaddi Head!!"

yep thats how Sarah talks to me...don't ask what a chaddi head is...

SarahUPDATE: she had some story including a sleepless night in which a power outage kept on reoccuring, all the while a "Laal Baig" (HUGE COCKROACHES) came out of nowhere when they (Sarah, Mom, Bhabbi, and 5 other cousins/nieces about Sarah's age) were having a 'girls night'....Keep in mind during this whole time the power kept coming and going at exactly the right moments for a classic suspense film.

There was PANIC,chappals, screaming and brooms involved...the roach was whacked all the while Sarah hops from one couch to the other across room basically crushing one of her nieces (dont worry she's like 20).

Then things got worse when a Chupkali (??? those small paki lizards) appeared and out came the brooms, except the wrong one was brought (power outage=darkness). The chupkali skampers behind the curtain, only to get whacked by the family's pest Hitman...Sophia.

Stay Tuned...Sarahs going to tha streets now...Aslam Road...Muhahahhahah!

AAA: I don't mean to press the PANIC button, but it appears we mismanaged our food situation... "3 Men, 14 days....not enough (frozen)yogurt containers of food...What will they EAT, who will cook.....The darama continues

Perhaps there more food in the other Freezer you say... nobody knows... cuz no one has checked!! Muhahahaha!

YM EVENTS: June 11 LDOD..check it out!

Full House: Back to the beginning: Hillarious (5PM on CTS)
1.) Michelle (as a baby) starts crying, so Uncle Jesse yells to her (while in the crib) "Hey! Shut Up!"....Hahahah...he makes me laugh..hahahah

2.) They (jesse and joey) change her diaper in kitchen with pots, water from the tap and Paper towels...genius..lol

3.) Finally, After Danny comes, he sees dirty baby clothes everywhere, Joey explains Michelle kept on spitting up, dirtying her diaper, etc. And Uncle Jesse says to Danny, "You Baby is a PIG"...HAAAAAhhhaaa..he cracks me up ..lol

OK thats is for now..gtg study for midterm next week..Peace
